Six boohoo US Collections and Who Each One Is For

Six boohoo US Collections and Who Each One Is For

Boohoo's US site is really six smaller stores. Here's what's in each, from Going Out to Shop By Figure, and how to get to the right one fast.

It’s Thursday, there’s a birthday dinner on Saturday, and nothing in your closet feels right. That’s the moment most people open boohoo. The trouble is that the US site is huge, and if you land on “New In” and start scrolling, you can lose an hour without getting anywhere near the dress you had in mind.

The fix is to stop treating boohoo as one store. It’s closer to six smaller ones stacked on top of each other, each with its own menu and its own logic. Know which one you need and the site shrinks to a manageable size.

Here they are, starting with the one most shoppers come for.

👗 Shop going-out dresses for this weekend

1. Going Out and Occasion

This is boohoo at its most boohoo. The Occasion menu splits into two halves. Going Out covers party dresses, going-out tops, little black dresses and a Plus Size Going Out section, plus a Modest Clothing edit for anyone who wants more coverage without giving up the night-out feel. The Formal side is where you’ll find evening dresses, evening jumpsuits, ball gowns, pant suits and, this time of year, Christmas party dresses.

Prom has its own page too. If you’re shopping for a specific event, start from the occasion rather than the dress category, because the edit has already done some of the sorting for you.

2. Shop By Figure: Plus, Petite, Tall and Maternity

This is the section people miss, and it’s probably the most useful one on the site. Under Shop By Figure, boohoo runs four complete fit ranges, each with its own new-in page, so you’re not just filtering the main catalog and hoping.

Plus Size is the deepest, with dresses, jeans, coats, tracksuits, knitwear, swimwear and sleepwear among its subcategories. Petite, which boohoo says is designed for smaller frames, and Tall each mirror that structure with their own dresses, jeans, sets and coats. Maternity covers dresses, jeans, leggings and swimwear, along with loungewear and lingerie.

The size menu on the main women’s site runs from 4 up to 26-28. Pick your fit range first, then your size, and the results get a lot more relevant very fast.

3. The bridal and wedding pages

Most people don’t expect a fast-fashion site to have a wedding section. Boohoo has a fairly thorough one.

The Bridal category covers the parts of a wedding that happen around the ceremony: matching bride squad pajamas, robes, a bride-to-be sash, bachelorette essentials and honeymoon outfits. There’s a Bridesmaid Dresses page, a Mother Of The Bride page, and a Wedding Guest Dresses section that breaks down further into plus size, fall, pant suits and jumpsuits. The Wedding Edit pulls it together on a single page.

It’s a smart place to kit out a bachelorette weekend or the getting-ready photos without spending big on outfits that get worn once.

4. DSGN Studio

DSGN Studio is boohoo’s take on everyday basics and activewear: tops, hoodies, joggers, leggings, co-ords, sports bras, tracksuits and jackets. What makes it easy to shop is the way it’s organized. You can browse by color, by activity (yoga, pilates and hiking are all there) or by mini-collections like Run Club and Tricot. It comes in plus, petite, tall and maternity as well, so the fit ranges carry over.

5 and 6. The everyday basics and the sale

Two more corners round out the site, and they suit different moods.

Boohoo Basics is where the plain tees, simple layers and wardrobe fillers live, and the Workwear collection sits alongside it for office-ready pieces. In colder months there’s also a Cosy Shop for knitwear and loungewear. None of these are glamorous, but they’re often where a full outfit gets finished.

Then there’s SALE, which is less a collection than a different way into the whole store. You can shop it by offer, by price, by category, by figure and by size. If you already know you’re a petite 8 and need a jacket, that combination of filters gets you there in a couple of clicks.

Getting more for less at boohoo

Boohoo runs site-wide promotions often, and the banners are hard to miss. Recent ones have advertised large percentage discounts on almost everything, sometimes with an extra promo code stacked on top. Check the homepage banner before you start building a cart, not after, because the code is usually right there.

Read the small print on discounts, too. Boohoo’s own footnote says its discounts may not be based on former prices, so judge an item by how much you like it at the price shown, not on the size of the percentage.

The Shop By Price filter in the sale is the quiet hero here. Set a ceiling, add your fit range and size, and you’re looking at a short list of things that fit both you and your budget. Delivery options, return terms and payment methods can change, so check the details at checkout before you place the order.

And for that Saturday dinner? Occasion, then your fit range, then your size. You’ll be done before the coffee goes cold.
